Labor Day celebrates the history of the working people. Beginning in the 1930s, unions became important allies of the Democratic Party. And When you know history, you know your rights. The power of organized labor is present daily as we enjoy our workplace rights, wages, working hours, political expression, labor laws, and other working conditions.
