Far-right extremists’ to remove funding from public education using divisive tactics

Far-right extremists want to overturn the 1982 Supreme Court of the United States case ( Plyler v. Doe ) that struck down state statutes denying funding for the education of undocumented immigrant children in the United States.

The Far-right’s logic was that these immigrant children are an “extraordinary cost” to school districts. One of the report data from the Texas Comptroller shows the education cost of undocumented students to be 957 million dollars; however, it also states that these undocumented immigrant students bring 1,580 million dollars into public schools. Essentially the undocumented immigrant students bring in more money to public schools than they spend!

Here we go again; another sneaky attempt by the far-right extremists’ to remove funding from public education using divisive tactics.
